We fully recommend Upton Lakes lodges. The lake is so peaceful and tranquil, a beautiful view whilst having a BBQ on the decking over looking the wonderful view. The lodge itself was fantastically furnished and spacious. The hot tub is just the icing on the cake for this holiday, absolutely loved our hot tub sessions. Collumpton is walking distance with takeaways, a few pub restaurants and shops. But you do need a car if you want to go to attractions.

I would recommend Hoseasons Holidays to everyone. Me and my partner have been to two different lodges now and we are going again at the end of the year. We love it. The private hot tub definitely helps too. Book a holiday now.

Fantastic lodge in a peaceful location but within walking distance of pubs and Tesco's!!! Just what we needed for a peaceful, relaxing weekend with the added bonus of a hot tub and a fantastic view of the lake. A very warm welcome made this weekend very enjoyable and we have already discussed dates for our return to the same lodge. Excellent value for money!

Upton Lakes was very peaceful and relaxing. The lodges were very spacious, very clean and tidy and exceptionally warm, we could not fault the accommodation and the hot tub was definitely a very big bonus. Our dog "Diesel" enjoyed himself as well, it was nice to have lodges with a hot tub that accepts dogs, he all so enjoyed playing around with the owners dogs. Tracey & Dave from Bristol.

Claire and Richard are fantastic hosts. This is our second year and will definitely be returning in 2011. Location is second to none and the log cabin is fitted with state of the art equipment and a fantastic hot tub.

Our holiday break to Upton Lakes was fantastic. The accommodation was luxury and the surroundings was very relaxing and after a day out the hot tub was fantastic to come home to. This is an ideal location for chilling out and relaxing, very peaceful, tranquil setting. It is also very convenient for access to the M5 motorway which enables you to explore all the surrounding places of interest quickly and easily. The lodges here are second to none, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hot tubs are fab!

Lovely location by the lake. Lodges were well equipped and to a high standard. Clean and spacious. Layout of lodge was well thought out and the extra touches made it very comfortable to stay in. There is a large Tesco's close by. Local shops in easy walking distance. Although the lodges were ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday, if you wanted a Saturday night out, you can book a local cab to the Weary Traveller, enjoy a few drinks and listen to a live band. The location was ideal for driving around the Devonshire countryside. We will definitely be booking again! Oh, forgot to mention the hot tub . . . . . . that gave the lodge the "wow factor".

Upton Lakes was the perfect location for our peaceful honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the calm, quiet setting, our lodge was fantastic, hot tub superb and the fishing was out-of-this-world! Everything was just great! Centrally located for days outs, such as the donkey sanctuary, Newton Abbot races... just FANTASTIC!

We loved this lodge. It was real home from home accommodation. The gas barbecue and hot tub helped make it even more special and enjoyable. We ate in every evening because the view of the lake from our lodge was too good to miss by being out in a restaurant.

Upton Lakes was the most tranquil of locations and perfect "home from home" lodge. My husband and I spent a wonderful birthday break here - the perfect haven for luxurious relaxation and a wonderful touring base. We woke up to the sounds of birds and ducks on the lake, took advantage of the fabulous gas BBQ and not to forget the amazing hot tub. We were just 30 minutes drive from the coast. We will definitely return - just a shame the break had to end really.

We loved every minute and hope to go back. Like many, I had to take work away but it wasn't a chore in those surroundings. If you want peace and quiet with great road links to places of interest go here. Loved the ducks coming up to the decking for bread.

I would definitely recommend Upton Lakes as a holiday destination. The lodge was beautiful, with the lake right beside you, fantastic hot tub. Excellent location with shops, pubs and takeaways just a short distance away. Perfect holiday for relaxation.

I booked this holiday for my partners birthday and for a little break before the Christmas rush. The log cabin was amazing, it was absolutly spotless, very warm, extremely inviting and the pictures in the brochure does not do it justice! The location of the park is very relaxing, quiet and peaceful, and the main towns are only about 15 minutes drive away. It was a great holiday and am booking again for next year!

If you are looking for a peaceful holiday, then book a lodge at Upton Lakes! My partner and I didn't want to leave - it's fantastic! We were outside in the hot tub every night, in December! We have recently returned from Upton Lakes and have had a great time. The lodges are of a very high specification and have everything you require. The space is amazing, and everything is so well organised by Richard the site manager. The obvious highlight is the hot tubs, which are great whether there is frost on the ground or the moon is shining. The lodges are so easy to find, only about 2 miles from Junction 28 of the M5, but you could be a million miles away as everything is so peaceful. We would definitely recommend the Merry Harriers in Westcott to eat, excellent food with large portions. Finally, we enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked for next summer so as to enjoy the longer days, and hopefully get to use the BBQ!

We went to Upton Lakes for our holiday in one of the lodges and it was breathtaking! Both with the lodge and the area of natural beauty at Cullumpton. The fishermen amongst us caught carp, bream, roach and tench and us ladies marvelled at the relaxation of the hot tub which was built for six but which enabled us to lay out. We spent a lot of time in there whilst the men fished and it was so quiet except for the baby ducks and birds. It was a wonderful wonderful week. The lodge was so stylish and had everything we could possibly want and the owners were extremely polite, helpful and welcoming.

What a FANTASTIC place! It usually takes us a day or so to relax and unwind, but within five minutes of checking into our superb lodge my husband was out fishing, and me and the children were enjoying the hot-tub!
